Please note: Sutherland School is still awaiting registration and is not yet open.
Sutherland School provides specialist education for 78 children aged 7–16 with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, as well as neurodiverse profiles, communication and interaction differences, and cognition and learning challenges.
Rooted in over a century of educational heritage and first opening its doors in 1894, Sutherland School has been revitalised to create a nurturing, inspiring environment for children. Blending its historic character with contemporary design, the school provides spacious classrooms, dedicated breakout areas and calming sensory spaces. Beyond the classroom, a traditional playground, sensory gardens and a learning courtyard extend learning opportunities outdoors—fostering growth, exploration in a setting that honours the past while embracing the future.
